June 2023 – Varanger & Finnmark
A 10-day trip to Varanger, Finnmark & Finnish Lapland - driving from Denmark in my car. Primary targets where Ruffs at lekk and other breeding shorebirds.
May 2011 - Troms
A two day trip to Dividalen in Troms where a friend had found a Hawk-Owl nest in a photogenic place. Stayed in my tent-hide in the forest all day and night to photograph the owls.
June 2010 - Vest Agder
A five day trip to southern Norway to photograph various Norwegian specialities including Arctic Loon and breeding waders like Green, Wood & Common Sandpipers.
Feb.2009 - Møre & Romsdal
A two day trip to a photohide in Molde. Target specie was White-tailed Eagle and Golden Eagle in snowy conditions for my Eagle book. Weather was very bad, but he eagles were great.
May 2008 - Trøndelag
A three day trip to various localities in Trøndelag together with Norwegian photographers. Target was Horned Grebes and White-tailed Eagle for my Eagle book.
May 2005 - Troms
A short two day trip to Northen Norway to visit a friend. Managed to see a few breeding birds, including waders, thrushes, Willow Grouse & Rough-legged Buzzard.
June 2022 - Trøndelag
During my vacation in Härjedalen in Sweden I took a one day trip into Trøndelag in Norway to photograph Temminck's Stints in a breeding colony I knew from years back.
June 2011 - Trøndelag
A four day trip to various localities in Trøndelag, Norway - with primary targets being Great Snipe at lek, Temminck's Stint, woodpeckers and other Norwegian specialities.
March 2011 - Varanger
A 6 day trip to Varanger driving from Ivalo in Finland. Target species was Stellers Eiders & King Eiders in the many fjords and harbors. King Eiders were scarce and often intangled in fishing lines.
June 2009 - Trøndelag
A five day trip to Trøndelag. Target species was fishing White-tailed Eagles from boat in Flatanger for my Eagle book, and a visit to Levanger for breeding Pygmy Owl and a visit to a Great Snipe lek.
June 2008 - Østfold
A three day trip to southern Norway to visit a friend. Target species was breeding Nightjar, Osprey, Common Buzzard and Red-throated Loon.
June 2007 - Varanger & Finnmark
A ten day trip, on my own with tent, to Varanger and Finnmark. Besides Varanger I visited Pasvik, Neiden & Sletness. Target was all kind of arctic breeding birds.
June 2004 - Varanger & Finnmark
A ten day trip with friends to Varanger & Finnmark. My first time in this "bird heaven". I saw and photographed so many cool species. Unfortunately images were made with old DSLR Canon 10D!
