Dry Tortugas had been on my bucket list for many years. Finally I managed a boattrip to the islands with a group of birders. We spent two nights and three days on the islands. A fantastic place to see migrating and resting songbirds plus the local seabird colonies. A handfull of Merlins and Peregrine Falcons were constanly chasing the resting migrants. A water fountain was a magnet for the tired warblers and the ideal place to set up photography sessions.
